• Files: daily, retained 3 months
• Database: twice daily, retained 3 months

Storage

Backups are encrypted and stored off‑site on Hetzner Storage Boxes (credentials in 1Password under “Hosting Backups”).

How backups are generated

Backups are incremental with a monthly full. Incrementals store only changes since the previous backup, reducing space and time; restoring an incremental chain requires the full plus all incrementals.

Restores (Plesk)

Restore whole sites, single databases, or individual files via Websites & Domains → Backup & Restore. For selective restores, choose Select objects and pick Database, Sites, or Files of domain. Always take a fresh backup before restoring.
